V’ni Dansi is looking for a few good board members, including a treasurer
Are you passionate about V’ni Dansi’s work to revitalize and share Métis culture and arts? Are you interested in supporting a growing Indigenous non-profit organization?

We are looking for a board treasurer with the following experience:

• finance or accounting expertise
• knowledge of non-profit financial practices
• passion for Indigenous arts
• available to attend 4 board meetings per year, around 5 hours of work a month, and some board development activities
• willingness to be available monthly to review financials with senior staff or answer questions.

We are also looking for a few board members with the following qualities:

• past board experience
• availability to attend 4 meetings per year with a time commitment of around 5 hours a month, plus 2 special events per year as well as board development activities
• Indigenous heritage or an ally with awareness of Indigenous art and culture
• willingness to act as an ambassador for the organization in your community.
