KAT SINGLE-DAIN - Kat Single-Dain is a writer director choreographer and co-founder of the well loved Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret, recently named one of “Vancouver’s best kept secrets” by the CBC. Kat is Performance Director for the annual Parade of Lost Souls, has choreographed and co-created seven full-length original theatre productions, and most recently created and directed the critically acclaimed and Jesse nominated Hard Times Hit Parade, an immersive theatrical extravaganza set in a Depression era dance marathon. The feature film version of Hard Times Hit Parade is currently in postproduction. Having just returned from a performance and teaching tour in France, Sweden, Scotland and the United States, Kat works in the rare and wonderful intersection between clowning and dance, art and life.
